About the role

We’re looking for an Automation Specialist who will play a pivotal role in optimizing our IT support workflows, enhancing operational efficiency, and building automation solutions that help our teams focus on what matters most—delivering exceptional service.

What you'll be doing

• Analyse current IT support processes and identify opportunities for automation

• Design, develop and implement custom automation scripts and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

• Integrate automation tools and technologies with existing IT systems and infrastructure

• Provide training and support to IT support teams on the use of automation tools and processes

• Continuously monitor and optimise automated processes to ensure maximum productivity and reliability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation initiatives with overall business objectives

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automation Specialist or similar role in the IT support/help desk domain

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell or Bash

• Hands-on experience with automation tools and platforms like Ansible, Puppet, or AWS Lambda

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify process inefficiencies

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
