About the role

We’re looking for a Junior Web Designer who will support the design and implementation of web pages, user interfaces, and digital assets. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented person who is building experience in visual design, responsive layout, and basic front-end development.

What you'll be doing

1. Website Management & Development

• Build, update, and maintain WordPress websites

• Create new pages, landing pages, and blog layouts based on marketing requirements

• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility

• Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins and themes

• Optimize website speed and performance

2. SEO Technical Support

• Diagnose and fix SEO technical errors (Google Search Console, indexing, crawling issues)

• Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, schema, headings, internal linking)

• Resolve broken links, 404 errors, redirect issues

• Optimize Core Web Vitals and page load speed

• Support SEO team with structured data, sitemaps, and robots.txt

3. Content & Page Implementation

• Convert marketing content into properly formatted web pages

• Upload blogs, images, videos, and multimedia content

• Ensure proper URL structure and SEO-friendly formatting

• Create forms, CTAs, and conversion-focused layouts

4. Technical Maintenance & Security

• Perform regular website backups and updates

• Monitor site security and malware protection

• Troubleshoot hosting, domain, and email integration issues

• Coordinate with third-party providers when needed

5. Collaboration

• Work with SEO specialist and marketing team on campaigns

• Provide technical recommendations for better rankings

• Support analytics tracking (Google Analytics, Tag Manager)

What we're looking for

• 3 years of experience in web, UI, or visual design, or a related internship/portfolio demonstrating relevant work

• Proven experience with WordPress development and management

• Knowledge of technical SEO and Google Search Console

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript

• Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)

• Understanding of website hosting and DNS

• Ability to troubleshoot plugins and theme conflicts

Preferred

• Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar) – a plus

• Graphic design ability (Canva, Photoshop, or similar) – a plus

• Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog)

• Knowledge of schema markup

• Experience with WooCommerce (if applicable)

Contract Type: Permanent

Work Schedule: Hybrid (onsite days will be discussed during onboarding)

Total Hours per Week: Standard full-time hours

• Initial training period with hands-on onboarding to learn company design standards and development workflows

• Mentorship from senior designers and front-end developers to support skill growth
