Position Overview
We’re assisting one of our clients in a software house / IT agency who is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to own and execute SEO strategy across multiple product and content channels. This role will focus on improving organic visibility, increasing qualified traffic, and supporting content and technical initiatives that drive long-term growth. The ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate with product, engineering, and content teams to deliver measurable SEO outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and traffic
Perform keyword research and mapping to align content and product pages with user intent and business priorities
Conduct technical SEO audits and collaborate with engineering to prioritize and implement fixes (crawlability, indexing, site performance, structured data)
Optimize content in collaboration with writers and product owners to improve relevance, CTR, and conversion potential
Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and third-party platforms; translate data into actionable recommendations
Develop scalable link-building and digital PR strategies to grow domain authority and referral traffic
Perform competitor analysis and identify opportunities to capture market share in organic search
Define SEO KPIs, build dashboards, and present results and roadmaps to stakeholders
Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices, and apply learnings to the SEO roadmap
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum 3 years of hands-on SEO experience across technical, on-page, and off-page disciplines
Proven track record improving organic visibility and driving traffic growth for web or app products
Strong knowledge of SEO tools and platforms (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush)
Experience working with content teams and basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript impacts on SEO
Analytical mindset with experience using data to prioritize initiatives and measure impact
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
Familiarity with technical SEO concepts such as canonicalization, hreflang, schema markup, and site architecture
Experience in FinTech or software/agency environments is a plus
