Position Overview:
The SaaS Business Unit Head is responsible for leading the overall strategy, growth, and operational performance of the company’s SaaS business. This role drives business expansion by defining the strategic roadmap, executing go-to-market initiatives, and ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability targets. The position oversees end-to-end SaaS operations, strengthens strategic client relationships across banking, multifinance, fintech, and enterprise sectors, and leads cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable services. As a key leadership role, the SaaS Business Unit Head also collaborates closely with Sales, Product, and Executive Management to ensure sustainable business growth, operational excellence, and strong governance within the SaaS business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Strategy & Growth
Define and execute the strategic direction and growth roadmap for the SaaS business unit.
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to expand SaaS product adoption and market share.
Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and new market segments across banking, multifinance, fintech, and enterprise industries.
Drive achievement of revenue, gross profit, and overall business performance targets.
2. Operational Excellence
Oversee end-to-end SaaS business operations to ensure efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
Ensure all services meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) and operational standards.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational processes, SOPs, and quality standards.
3. Client & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients and key stakeholders.
Manage high-level client engagements, including escalations, contract discussions, and strategic collaboration.
Work closely with Sales and Commercial teams on proposals, pricing strategies, and large-scale negotiations.
Represent the company in strategic meetings, industry forums, and executive-level discussions.
4. Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams within the SaaS business unit.
Define KPIs and performance targets while ensuring regular performance monitoring and evaluation.
Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing collaboration, ownership, agility, and service excellence.
5. Governance, Reporting & Financial Management
Prepare and present monthly business performance reports to the Board of Management.
Contribute to annual budgeting and monitor financial performance against targets.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, NDA/NCA obligations, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
Maximum age of 45 years.
8–12 years of experience in the SaaS industry.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams of at least 10–20 people.
Experience in P&L management, business operations, and business development is a strong advantage.
Strong business acumen in SaaS business models and revenue structures.
Ability to interpret operational metrics such as utilization, margin, SLA performance, productivity, and manpower planning.
Strong negotiation skills, proposal management capabilities, and experience in client engagement.
Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
Strong leadership, coaching, and ability to manage multi-divisional teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving, conflict management, and effective decision-making abilities.
Adaptable to change with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
