We are expanding our security and cloud infrastructure practice and seek a certified Security & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our cloud operations and managed services team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a senior Security & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong managed services experience to design, secure, operate, and support cloud infrastructure and platform services for multiple clients. The role requires deep technical skills across cloud platforms (primarily Microsoft Azure), a security-first mindset, extensive incident and change management experience in an MSP environment, and active relevant certifications. The successful candidate will ensure reliable, resilient, and compliant cloud solutions while collaborating with service delivery, security, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, implementation, and operation of secure, multi-tenant cloud environments (primarily Microsoft Azure) for MSP customers, focusing on availability, resiliency, cost control, and compliance.

2. Architect and enforce security controls across networking, compute, storage, identity, and platform services, applying defense-in-depth, least privilege, and zero trust principles.

3. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform) and automated deployment pipelines to provision secure, repeatable infrastructure and platform services.

4. Manage identity and privileged access using Azure AD, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), managed identities, and hybrid identity solutions; implement robust RBAC and entitlement reviews.

5. Design and operate network security: NSGs, Azure Firewall, WAF, VPN/ExpressRoute segmentation, and secure connectivity patterns for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

6. Implement and manage monitoring, detection, and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel, Application Insights, and third-party security and monitoring platforms; lead incident response, triage, and post-incident reviews.

7. Drive vulnerability management, configuration hardening, patching, backup/recovery validation, and continuous security posture improvement across client tenants.

8. Create and maintain runbooks, playbooks, automation scripts (PowerShell, Azure Automation, Logic Apps), and clear client-facing operational and security documentation.

9. Participate in client onboarding, migrations, security assessments, and cloud transformation projects; produce implementation, cutover, and rollback plans in coordination with architects and stakeholders.

10. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers, support escalations, contribute to service improvement initiatives, and represent Asiacruit in client technical reviews.

Qualifications:

1. Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

2. Professional Experience

Minimum 6 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure and security, with at least 3 years in an MSP or managed services environment supporting multiple client tenants. Demonstrated experience leading production support, incident response, threat detection, and meeting managed service SLAs.

3. Certifications (Required)

• Required: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) OR equivalent cloud security certification demonstrating hands-on operational security experience.

• Required: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate (AZ-305) OR equivalent Azure operational certification.

• Recommended: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), or cloud security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSK.

4. Core Competencies

• Cloud Security & Operations: Strong hands-on experience securing Azure compute, networking (VNETs, ExpressRoute, VPN), storage, and platform services (AKS, App Services), and operating in a multi-tenant MSP context.

• Automation & IaC: Proficient with ARM/Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, and/or Azure CLI to deliver secure, repeatable deployments and configuration management.

• Monitoring, Detection & Response: Experience configuring and operating Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel (or SIEM), alerting, incident response playbooks, and running on-call rotations and postmortems.

• Identity & Access Management: Practical expertise with Azure AD, Conditional Access, PIM, managed identities, MFA, and RBAC models across hybrid environments.

• Networking & Secure Connectivity: Solid understanding of IP addressing, routing, VPN/ExpressRoute, load balancing, segmentation, and enforcement of network security policies.

• Security Governance & Compliance: Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO, SOC, NIST, PCI) and experience implementing controls, audits, and evidence collection for clients.

• Service Delivery & Communication: Experience with ITIL-aligned processes (incident, change, problem), SLA-driven managed services, strong stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to translate technical risk to business owners.
