Position Overview:
The Auditor will be responsible for planning and executing audits, assessing internal controls and compliance, preparing audit reports with clear findings and recommendations, coordinating with stakeholders and external advisors, and contributing to continuous improvement of financial and operational processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit Planning & Risk Assessment

  Develop audit plans and risk-based programs for financial, operational, and compliance audits. Identify key risks and controls, define scope, and set audit objectives and timelines.

• Fieldwork & Testing

  Perform detailed testing of transactions, account balances, and controls. Evaluate completeness, accuracy, and validity of financial information and operational practices.

• Internal Controls Evaluation

  Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, recommend control enhancements, and monitor remediation efforts with management.

• Audit Reporting

  Prepare clear, well-structured audit reports and working papers documenting findings, root causes, and pragmatic recommendations. Communicate results to stakeholders and follow up on action plans.

• Compliance & Regulatory Support

  Support compliance reviews, statutory audits, and regulatory inquiries as required. Ensure audit activities align with applicable accounting standards, policies, and local regulations.

• Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  Coordinate audit activities with finance teams, operations, external auditors, and other stakeholders. Facilitate information requests and support cross-border audits and data collection.

• Continuous Improvement & Systems

  Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and systems (including ERP/cloud accounting). Contribute to the development and documentation of policies, standard operating procedures, and audit methodologies.

• Ad Hoc Projects

  Provide support for special projects, investigations, and process improvement initiatives as assigned by the Head of Finance or Audit Lead.

Qualification:

• Education & Certification

  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CIA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is desirable.

• Work Experience

  3+ years of internal or external audit experience, or equivalent experience in finance, compliance, or risk. Experience with multi-entity, international, or cross-border operations is preferred.

• Technical Skills

  Proficient with audit tools and cloud accounting systems or ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, SAP Business One, Xero). Strong Excel skills and familiarity with data analytics or audit software is an advantage.

• Language & Communication

  Fluent English required. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings and collaborate across teams and external advisors.
