Position Overview

The UX/UI Designer will create user-centered designs for web and mobile applications, translating product requirements and user insights into elegant, accessible, and functional interfaces. This role partners closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define interaction patterns, visual design systems, and prototypes that improve usability and drive product adoption. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, empathetic to users, and comfortable working in an iterative, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• User Research & Insights

  Collaborate with product and research teams to gather user requirements through interviews, surveys, and usability testing. Synthesize findings into personas, user journeys, and actionable design opportunities.

• Interaction Design

  Design intuitive information architectures, wireframes, and interaction flows that address user needs and business goals. Create prototypes to validate concepts and iterate based on feedback.

• Visual Design & UI Components

  Develop high-fidelity mockups, UI components, and visual assets that align with brand and accessibility standards. Maintain consistency across products by contributing to and evolving a shared design system.

• Prototyping & Testing

  Build interactive prototypes for user testing and stakeholder reviews. Run or support usability tests, capture insights, and refine designs to improve task success and satisfaction.

• Collaboration with Engineering

  Work closely with developers to ensure design intent is implemented accurately. Provide clear specifications, assets, and guidance for interactions, responsive behaviors, and animations.

• Accessibility & Performance

  Advocate for inclusive design practices and ensure interfaces meet accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG). Consider performance and platform constraints when designing solutions.

• Documentation & Handoff

  Document design decisions, maintain component libraries, and prepare handoff materials that facilitate smooth implementation and future iterations.

• Continuous Improvement

  Monitor product usage and metrics to identify areas for improvement. Iterate on designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback to enhance user experience over time.

• Ad Hoc Projects

  Contribute to special initiatives such as design sprints, branding updates, or cross-functional programs as assigned by the Product or Design lead.

Qualifications

• Education

  Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience

  2+ years of experience in UX, UI, or product design for web and/or mobile products. Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams and with remote collaborators is preferred.

• Technical Skills

  Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and handoff tools (e.g., Zeplin, Storybook) is a plus.

• Research & Analysis

  Experience conducting or partnering on user research and usability testing. Ability to translate research insights into clear design decisions and measurable outcomes.

• Communication

  Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to present design rationale to stakeholders and collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and business teams.
