Position Overview
The Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Supervisor will lead the design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures that our reward strategies attract and retain top talent while remaining compliant with Philippine labor laws. Working in a fast-paced fintech environment, the supervisor will analyze market trends and internal data to provide strategic recommendations on salary structures, incentive programs, and employee wellness initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end payroll process and ensure 100% accuracy and on-time disbursement.
Design and manage competitive compensation structures, including base pay, variable pay, and performance-based incentives.
Administer employee benefits programs such as HMO, life insurance, and leave entitlements.
Conduct regular salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure the organization remains "at par" or ahead of the competition.
Manage statutory compliance and reporting for SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR.
Develop and implement performance-linked incentive schemes tailored for fintech operations (e.g., sales, collections, and tech teams).
Lead the annual merit increase and bonus distribution cycles.
Provide data-driven insights through regular C&B reports and analytics.
Partner with HRBP and Finance teams to manage personnel budgeting and cost-of-living adjustments.
Evaluate and negotiate with third-party benefit providers and vendors.
Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
Industry Experience: Must have a strong background in the Fintech, Digital Banking, or Consumer Lending industry.
Specialization: Must have proven experience in handling complex compensation structures and variable incentive models.
General Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience: 5–8 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data modeling, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and experience with HRIS/Payroll software.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of Philippine labor laws, taxation (TRAIN Law), and statutory benefits.
Attributes: High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a startup or high-growth technology environment.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional or CHRP).
Background in job evaluation and grading methodologies.
