Position Overview

The SEO & Web Content Specialist will develop and execute SEO strategies and create web content that improves organic visibility, drives qualified traffic, and enhances user engagement. This role combines technical SEO, on-page optimization, content creation, and performance analysis to support marketing and product teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement on-page and technical SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and visibility across search engines.

• Conduct keyword research, content gap analysis, and competitive audits to inform content planning and optimization priorities.

• Create, edit, and publish high-quality web content (blog posts, landing pages, product descriptions, meta tags) optimized for search intent and conversions.

• Collaborate with design, product, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into site architecture and UX.

• Perform regular site audits (crawl, indexability, schema, page speed) and work with engineering to prioritize and implement fixes.

• Monitor and report on SEO performance using analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, third-party platforms), providing actionable insights and recommendations.

• Manage on-going content calendar and ensure timely publication and optimization of evergreen and campaign content.

• Implement and maintain structured data (schema) and other markup to enhance search appearance (rich results, knowledge panels).

• Optimize internal linking, URL structure, and navigation to maximize crawl efficiency and user engagement.

• Stay current with search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging tools to continuously refine SEO and content strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SEO and web content, with measurable results in organic traffic growth and keyword rankings.

• Technical Skills: Proven experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog) and basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Content Skills: Strong writing and editing abilities with attention to tone, grammar, and SEO-driven content structure.

• Analytical: Comfortable working with data to measure performance, run A/B tests, and make data-driven recommendations.

• Collaboration: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the fintech, digital banking, or technology sectors.

• Familiarity with international SEO and multilingual content strategies.

• Knowledge of structured data implementation and advanced technical SEO techniques.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO-focused courses) are an advantage.
