Position Overview

The Production Manager will lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely production of high-quality products. This role is responsible for managing production schedules, supervising manufacturing teams, maintaining equipment uptime, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will be results-oriented, organized, and skilled at cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall operation management of HNB media production (quality, efficiency, cost, delivery) to achieve business goals

• Build and manage multi-level production teams (operator → team leader → supervisor), improving team execution

• Drive production efficiency improvement and scrap rate reduction; continuously optimize yield and cost.

• Enhance process stability and batch consistency (focus on variation control).

• Establish and optimize shop floor management systems (6S, standardization, visualization) to create a benchmark production site.

• Coordinate with process, quality, PMC and other departments to integrate resources and ensure production continuity and delivery stability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production operation experience, with 200+ people team management experience (3+ levels)

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, or related fields.

• Background in FMCG or continuous manufacturing industries (tobacco, HNB, e-cigarette, food, pharmaceutical preferred).

• Familiar with production site management and core KPIs (OEE, yield, efficiency, loss) and improvement paths.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional resource coordination skills.

• English working proficiency; tobacco/HNB industry experience preferred.

• Local Indonesians or Chinese citizen willing to relocate
