Position Overview

The Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer will lead and drive operational excellence initiatives across manufacturing and support functions. This role is responsible for identifying improvement opportunities, designing and implementing process improvements, standardizing best practices, and enabling sustainable productivity gains. The successful candidate will be data-driven, experienced with lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive lean improvement in HNB production process (efficiency, cost, yield)

• Identify production bottlenecks and waste, lead improvement project execution.

• Promote production stability and consistency optimization (reduce variation).

• Optimize production flow (VSM, standard time, line balancing).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical experience in continuous improvement, process engineering, or lean production.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or related field.

• Proven experience applying lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred), Kaizen, and related CI tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in root-cause analysis and data-driven improvement.

• Experience in efficiency improvement or cost reduction projects.

• Tobacco/HNB/food industry experience preferred.

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills

• English working proficiency is required.

• Local Indonesians or Chinese with legal work status in Indonesia
