Position Overview
The HR Generalist supports the delivery of Human Resources and Payroll operations by partnering closely with the HR Business Partner (HRBP). The role is responsible for employee lifecycle administration, HR compliance, benefits administration, employee data management, and HR operational and client support. The position ensures accurate employee records, compliance with labor regulations, and a positive client and employee experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Recruitment and Onboarding
• Facilitate onboarding and employee orientation.
• Prepare employment contracts, employment-related letters, and personnel documentation.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements and onboarding schedules.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS updates.
2) Employee Lifecycle Management
• Process regularization, promotions, transfers, salary adjustments, and separations.
• Monitor probationary employee evaluations.
• Coordinate offboarding and clearance processes.
3) Performance Management
• Support performance appraisal cycles.
• Track completion of evaluations and development plans.
• Generate reports related to employee performance and workforce metrics.
4) Employee Engagement
• Assist in employee engagement initiatives and company activities.
• Support employee communication programs.
• Coordinate employee recognition activities.
5) HR Compliance
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
• Support HR audits and documentation reviews.
B. Client Management and Support
1) Client Onboarding
• Coordinate client onboarding activities in partnership with Operations, Payroll, Recruitment, and other internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate onboarding meetings and orientation sessions with new clients.
• Gather, review, and maintain client requirements, organizational information, employee data, and onboarding documentation.
• Ensure smooth transition and deployment of employees in accordance with client requirements.
• Assist in the implementation of client-specific HR processes, policies, and reporting requirements.
2) Client Relationship Support
• Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day HR-related client inquiries and concerns.
• Provide timely support regarding employee relations, HR policies, attendance, leave administration, benefits, payroll coordination, and employment matters.
• Coordinate with internal departments to address client concerns and service requests.
• Monitor client satisfaction and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in preparing and presenting HR reports, workforce analytics, and operational updates to clients.
Qualifications and Must Have
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
Experience
• 2–4 years of HR Generalist, HR Operations, Payroll, or Compensation & Benefits experience.
• Experience handling Philippine payroll processing preferred.
• Experience in EOR, BPO, outsourcing, or multi-client environments is an advantage.
Knowledge
• Philippine Labor Code.
• Payroll processing and payroll controls.
• Government statutory compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
• HRIS and payroll systems.
• Compensation and benefits administration.
