Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the overall financial strategy, governance, and performance of a growing multi-entity organization in Indonesia.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving profitability, optimizing financial operations, strengthening internal controls, and supporting executive decision-making. This position requires a strategic finance leader with extensive experience in financial planning, reporting, treasury management, taxation, and stakeholder management across complex business structures.
Preference will be given to Chinese professionals currently residing in Indonesia with strong English communication skills and proven experience leading large finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute short-term and long-term financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors on financial performance, investments, risk management, and business expansion opportunities.
Drive profitability initiatives and optimize overall P&L performance across the organization.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
Multi-Entity Financial Management
Oversee financial operations across multiple branches, business units, and subsidiaries.
Consolidate financial reports accurately and ensure timely reporting across all entities.
Ensure consistent application of PSAK, IFRS, and corporate accounting policies.
Manage treasury, cash flow, working capital, and capital structure to maintain strong financial health and liquidity.
Budgeting, Forecasting & FP&A
Lead the annual budgeting and business planning process across all entities.
Develop rolling forecasts and long-term financial projections.
Monitor financial performance against budget and strategic objectives.
Conduct financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business performance evaluations to support growth initiatives.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
Establish and strengthen financial governance frameworks and internal control systems.
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
Ensure adherence to taxation regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies.
Promote best practices in corporate governance and risk management.
ERP & Financial Systems Management
Oversee the utilization and optimization of SAP Business One (SAP B1) across all finance functions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within financial systems and reporting processes.
Ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and operational efficiency across multiple entities.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Present financial performance reports, business insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and the Board.
Lead external audits and coordinate with auditors, regulators, and tax authorities.
Ensure compliance with PSAK, IFRS, corporate governance standards, and statutory reporting requirements.
Stakeholder & Banking Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, financial institutions, and external stakeholders.
Lead negotiations related to financing facilities, credit lines, fundraising activities, and investment arrangements.
Support mergers, acquisitions, restructuring activities, and strategic financial transactions as required.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university.
Master's Degree is an advantage.
Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CFA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
At least 5 years of experience as a Finance Head, Finance Manager, Finance Director, CFO, or equivalent senior finance leadership role.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Chief Financial Officer or similar executive position.
Experience within FMCG, distribution, retail, or multi-branch/multi-entity organizations is highly preferred.
Proven experience consolidating financial reports across multiple subsidiaries, branches, or business units.
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and IFRS.
Deep understanding of Indonesian corporate taxation and regulatory compliance.

Strong business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities.
Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage Board members, investors, and executive leadership teams.
Strong analytical thinking, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Requirements
Chinese national or Chinese professional currently residing in Indonesia.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience working in multicultural and fast-paced business environments.
