Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive specializing in Employer of Record (EOR) services to drive new business and manage strategic accounts. This role is responsible for acquiring new clients, growing recurring revenue, managing relationships across the sales cycle, and articulating the commercial and operational value of EOR solutions to HR and C-suite stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is consultative, target-driven, and has deep knowledge of global employment, compliance, payroll, and contractor/employee management. This position offers a chance to shape market presence, influence product-market fit, and contribute to rapid company growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Pipeline Management
Prospect, qualify, and convert mid-market and enterprise leads into opportunities through outbound and inbound channels.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM best practices and accurate forecasting.
Develop targeted account strategies and lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles to close new contracts and renewals.
Collaborate with marketing to execute campaigns, nurture leads, and convert event-generated opportunities.
Participate in industry events, webinars, and demos to generate interest and demonstrate solution value.
Client Relationship Management
Act as main point of contact for assigned accounts during pre-sales and transition to delivery teams post-sale.
Understand client business models, hiring plans, and compliance requirements to recommend appropriate EOR solutions.
Negotiate commercial terms, prepare proposals and contracts, and manage healthy gross margins while ensuring client satisfaction.
Maintain long-term relationships to drive renewals, upsell opportunities, and referrals.
Product and Market Expertise
Effectively present and demo EOR service capabilities, including global payroll, local compliance, benefits administration, and contractor management.
Communicate product value clearly to HR, legal, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
Gather market and competitor intelligence; share insights with product and leadership teams to shape offering and pricing.
Stay current on international employment regulations, tax and payroll trends, and remote/contingent workforce developments.
Sales Operations and Collaboration
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and post-sale handover documentation for management and operations teams.
Work cross-functionally with legal, finance, and delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and contract compliance.
Contribute to pricing strategies, commercial templates, and sales enablement materials.
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining a customer-first approach.
Qualifications
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of B2B sales or account management experience selling HR, payroll, global mobility, PEO/EOR, or HR technology solutions.
Proven track record of closing mid-market and enterprise deals and consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Strong understanding of global employment models, local compliance, payroll processes, and contractor vs. employee distinctions.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
Proficient in CRM usage, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, International Law, or related field.
Experience working with international clients or within a global employment services provider.
Familiarity with multinational compliance frameworks, payroll providers, and global benefits.
Additional language skills relevant to target regions are an advantage.
